First Baptist Church of Amherst

Our main objective is simple: we want to see lives changed for the glory of God...God drawing people to Himself and helping them grow in faith. To make that possible, the Bible says the church should:

                          Love God (Matthew 22:37)

                          Love Others (Matthew 22:39)

                   & Make Disciples (Matthew 28:19)

We do not want to overcomplicate those commands by creating a lot of church structure and rules. We only want to care about God and care about you! We want to help people on an ever-continuing journey of faith that leads directly to Jesus.

If you are looking for a place where you can take an honest spiritual journey, seek answers about life and God with people who will love and respect you, that's what we are all about. We teach and talk about what the Bible has to say because we believe it has the answers for this life and the next. We know that life is tough but we also know that faith in Jesus is the key.
